Frustrated Minecraft fans are calling the upcoming update underwhelming as Mojang shifts away from its traditional style of yearly expansions.
Minecraft developer Mojang is switching the Java Edition's graphics API from OpenGL to Vulkan ahead of its Vibrant Visuals update.
Work continues for the Vibrant Visuals update to come to Minecraft Java, and as part of that they're switching the rendering from OpenGL to Vulkan.
