CDC officials say the risk to Americans remains low despite reports of high-risk Ebola exposures involving U.S. citizens in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

The CDC said in a statement on Sunday that a "small number of Americans" are directly affected by an Ebola outbreak occurring in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
